We want everyone to be able to use bravessa.com, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, or settings that cut down on motion. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.
What we’ve done
- Everything works with just a keyboard: Tab to the envelope, Enter to open it, then Tab through the card. Escape closes it.
- Screen readers hear every word on the card, every error message and the thank-you.
- Pictures that carry meaning have a text description; decoration is hidden from screen readers.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, the envelope stops moving and opens without animation.
- Errors say what’s wrong in plain words, not just with color.
What still falls short
- The “Thank you” pressed into the card and the pink word “yours” are lighter than the standard asks for. Screen readers still read both, and the line under “Thank you” says the same thing in dark text.
- The envelope gently moves until you open it, unless your device asks for reduced motion.
